In my opinion, virtual reality has affected in young people's attitude to violence. Anything that portrays violence as fun is going to alter young people's perception of violence in a very dangerous way. Violent crime amongst young people is increasing. Likewise, playing with toy guns were invented in the world of virtual reality. Playing with toy guns in the real world is more dangerous than playing with imaginary guns in an imaginary world. At present in PUBG's case, gamers would actually be able to feel that they are behind the gun, killing off players one by one until they're the only survivor.
Virtual reality (VR)'s power lies in the fact that the subconscious cannot differentiate between reality and the simulated environment that we are seeing. Our conscious mind might be aware that we are just playing a game, but our subconscious re-calibrates itself to accept the new surroundings as real. It will initiate fight or flight and other psychological reactions in response to a perceived threat. This is why, a VR user might duck at something that's thrown at him in the game.
VR is a technology that creates a virtual environment. It is presented to our senses so one may feel like he is actually there. A host of technologies are used to account for thought and perception. A VR headset takes over and represents visual surroundings which are similar to what headphones do with audio. Despite the game's terrible graphics and unrealistic se scared playing and started crying and wanted to stop at various points are some other examples.
Thus, virtual reality may motivate towards violence young people come to see different forms and strategies of fighting from VR. So, there is the need of proper use otherwise VR technology can be a foe to the mankind.
